Strong numbers sign up for WA round
The third round of the 2015 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli is just around the corner, and strong numbers have signed up to take part in Western Australia.
The round will be held at Barbagallo Raceway from 22-24 May, and will be well supported with over 20 Superbikes lining up to be on the grid.
The number of superbike riders marks an increase from round two at Morgan Park, where 16 bikes took part in the Yamaha Motorcycle Insurance Superbike category.
It is a strong show of support for the series, and also highlights how well road racing in general in supported in Western Australia.
All classes will be well represented with over 20 riders signing up for the Honda Moto 3 / 125GP class and nearly 30 riders ready to take part in the round three Club Challenge.
Round three will provide spectators with plenty to see and do – outside of the racing.
Off the track there will be trade and club displays to check out, as well as a kids Come & Try area which is free for children to have a go riding mini bikes in a safe and controlled environment.
Stunt rider Lukey Luke will be out in force to show off his latest tricks on the bike, and pillion rides will be taking place for a number of lucky competition winners (see our Facebook page for your chance to win a ride!).
