Round 4 ASBK Entries now open

After a spectacular opening three rounds in the nation’s premier road racing competition, Motorcycling Australia is pleased to advise that entries for the fourth round of the 2015 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli are now open and available online.

The fourth round will be held at Symmons Plains Raceway in Tasmania from September 4-6, and all entries can be submitted via www.raceentry.com.au.

The following classes are now open for entries:

  • Yamaha Motor Insurance Superbike
  • Yamaha Supersport
  • Honda Moto3 / 125GP
  • Production
  • Unlimited
  • Historics Period 5 & 6 Formula 750cc & 1300cc
  • Formula 3

Outside of the ASBK Series’ Championship classes, the Tasmanian round will also showcase two Club Challenge classes of competition.

Featuring at the event will be the ‘Historics Period 5 & 6 750cc & 1300cc’ class (as per the 2015 General Competition Rules), while the ‘Formula 3’ class will encompass a number of production-based bikes including 400cc 4 cylinder 4 strokes, 250cc 2 strokes, up to 650cc twin cylinder 4 strokes and up to 750cc single cylinder 4 strokes.

Entry fees for these classes will be $130.00 for Saturday and Sunday, and an additional $100 for the Friday practice session.

Competitors who have entered a minimum of three rounds (excluding Round 1) of the 2015 Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship are reminded that they are eligible for a once-only $500 cash travel subsidy for the series.
