R3 Cup – Race Center Support Service
We are pleased to announce the addition of an optional support service to complement the new Yamaha R3 Cup presented by Yamaha Motor Finance and Insurance.
Because the class is aimed at entry level riders to encourage participation in the sport, an optional support service is designed to provide mentoring and support to participants and their support crew.
The support service will be run by Melbourne based race bike specialist, Race Center. Race Center has a wealth of racing experience stemming from grass roots right through to World Superbike level. Race Center’s vast experience in providing entry level guidance will be of particular benefit to Yamaha R3 Cup participants.
The support service will commence from round one of the R3 Cup at Wakefield Park on 25 to 27 March and expand as dictated by demand throughout the 2016 season.
The Yamaha R3 Cup / Race Center Support Truck offers:
• Trackside spare parts store. Note you are encouraged to organise your own spare parts
• Spare parts ordering
• Transport for bike and gear from Melbourne to each round. Cost for return trip to Round 1 at Wakefield is $350
• Subsidised bike builds by Race Center using the supplied R3 Race model are available from $1,050
