Glenn Scott returns to the 2019 ASBK Championship with his eyes set on fighting for the Privateer title

Glenn Scott and the GSR Kawasaki Team are returning to the ASBK Championship to complete the entire 2019 season. GSR Kawasaki will again have the support of Kawasaki Motors Australia, with Glenn riding the new Ninja ZX10-R in the Superbike class, with his eyes firmly set on fighting for the privateer title.

After completing the last four rounds of the 2018 season to develop GSR Kawasaki, the team are excited to return to the track and hit the ground running in 2019. Glenn and the team will test the new Ninja ZX10-R for the first time at the ASBK Official test at Phillip Island from the 2nd-3rd of February, where they hope to gain new insights and data into the new and improved Ninja machine.

“It nice to be back for another year of racing! The last few years have been up and down due to injury, so it’s nice to be starting the season fit and healthy. I have to send a special thank you to Stephen Mion from Fitmoto for my training program that has put me in the best shape possible for the 2019 season. I’m highly motivated for the year ahead and I cannot wait to hit the track.”

Team GSR Kawasaki comprises Glenn Scott as rider and team manager, Al Samuels as Crew Chief, Mick Muldoon as first mechanic, Ryan Hughes as second mechanic and Tamara Sexty will coordinate communications and media. GSR Kawasaki will also have support from many returning sponsors from 2018.

“I’m really excited to have my supporters back on board for 2019, it feels great to have that local support and backing from people who are so passionate about bikes and racing”.

“A big thank you to the following sponsors: Kawasaki Motors Australia / Easy Mix Concrete / Darby St Automotive / BJ Howes Metal Land / Commercial Kitchens Direct / Maxima Oils / K&R Hydraulics Workshop / Maverick Racing Development / Singo’s Wholesale Meats / Gimoto / Fitmoto”.

The 2019 ASBK championship kicks off at Phillip Island from the 22nd-24th February and will coincide with the World SBK championship.
