Change of date for Rounds 3 & 4
Motorcycling Australia (MA) would like to advise of two changes to the ASBK Calendar.
- Round 3 at Wanneroo, WA will now be held on May 22, 23 and 24 2015.
- Round 4 at Symmons Plains, TAS will now be held onSeptember 4, 5 and 6 2015.
In order to provide a competitor friendly calendar, Round 3 in Perth has been brought forward one week. MA believes the new date will make the traveling and transport to Western Australia for our Championship riders a much smoother process.
Round 4 in Tasmania has also been moved forward one week and now coincides with Fathers Day on Sunday 6 September, make Dad’s day one to remember with a ticket to Symmons Plains for all the ASBK action.
“We believe we’re acting in the best interest of the competitors in making these two date changes.” CEO of MA, Dale Gilson said.
“It’s a small change to make the ASBK Championship as accessible as possible for as many riders as possible, we’ve taken in to account other events around the country to avoid any schedule clashing, and ultimately we’re trying to make traveling between rounds a smoother process.”
MA apologizes for any inconvenience to competitors and spectators caused by the change of dates.

Rd.5 Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, Vic – October 2/3/4
