In 2023, the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul returns to the updated Queensland Raceway, Ipswich for Round 3 of ASBK action from 28 – 30 April 2023.

This will be the second round at Queensland Raceway since Tony Quinn bought the complex and the upgrades and improvements to the complex will be evident from the moment the riders and teams arrive at the circuit.

Tony Quinn: “It is great to see Queensland Raceway on the ASBK calendar once again! We thoroughly enjoyed having the ASBK Championship here in 2022 and look forward to making 2023’s event bigger and better again with the huge amount of local support keen to get behind the event!”

The ASBK Championship round at Queensland Raceway in 2022 created incredible battles and close racing at the iconic raceway near Ipswich. The tight and twisty layout ensuring handlebar to handlebar action all the way to the chequered flag.

Peter Doyle, CEO, of Motorcycling Australia (MA): “Tony Quinn and the team at QR were very welcoming to ASBK this year and were very enthusiastic about the prospect of a return to the circuit in 2023.

“When we were there this year, we could see a lot of work getting underway and look forward to seeing the fruits of this labour when we return in 2023. I want to thank Tony and his team at QR for their efforts to bring this event to fruition.

‘’The ASBK round at QR will be an event not to be missed for all ASBK fans as the circuit provides great facilities and a complete view of the entire track from the spectator areas’’.

As well as today’s announcement of ASBK Round 3 at Queensland Raceway in 2023, the ASBK Management Team confirms that the Official ASBK Test will be held at Sydney Motorsport Park on Wednesday the first and Thursday the second of February 2023.
