Allerton to join fledgling Superbike Advocates Racing for 2025 ASBK assault
Three-time champion Glenn Allerton is on the move for the 2025 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK), and will ride a Ducati Panigale V4 R for the newly formed Superbike Advocates Racing outfit.
The new team is spearheaded by Lecha Khouri, the visionary behind Supercar Advocates, who will partner with former circuit racer Mitchell Pirotta from On Two Wheels Motorcycles in Sydney.
As a fresh extension of the Supercar Advocates franchise, Superbike Advocates Racing will operate as an independent entity with its own management and specialist staff.
“At Supercar Advocates, we strive to stay at the forefront of everything we do. Whether it’s reviewing cars and motorcycles, building a world-class automotive collection, or racing, we’re committed to leading from the front lines,” said Khouri.
Allerton will be the sole rider in 2025 before Superbike Advocates Racing looks to transition to a two-rider team in 2026.
Allerton’s move to Superbike Advocates Racing coincides with the announcement that his current team, GT Racing, will be discontinuing at the end of the current ASBK Championship.
Aboard the BMW M 1000 RR, Allerton is currently eighth in the standings with two rounds remaining at One Raceway (October 4-6) and The Bend (November 8-10).
