2018 Yamaha YZF- R6 Approved for Race Homologation

Motorcycling Australia (MA) is pleased to announce that year model (ym) 2018 Yamaha YZF-R6 machines meet and satisfy all MA homologation criteria and therefore, are permitted for use in competition, including the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK).

Yamaha Motor Australia were able to confirm that ym 2018 YZF-R6 machines meet all criteria as listed in the Manual of Motorcycle Sport for approved Australian homologation.

Based on this, MA is pleased to announce that the 2018 Yamaha YZF – R6 is eligible for competition in Australian road race championships and competitions.
