ASBK Championship continues for cube racing in Sydney

Cube Racing duo Callum Spriggs and Robbie Menzies will enter round three of the 2016 Australian Supersport Championship looking to improve upon their top 10 results achieved at the most recent round of the season.

Spriggs remains in title contention after claiming fourth overall at Wakefield Park last month, now ranked fourth in the standings, while a 10th place finish for standout Supersport rookie Menzies in Goulburn elevated him to 11th in the championship.

“It’s shaping up to be another positive weekend for the Cube Racing team,” team owner and manager Ben Henry commented. “Certainly, Spriggsy is pretty handy around Sydney and I think he will do a good job. A recent test for us went well there and it will be a good weekend for him.

“Again with Robbie, it’s all about seat time at this point, for him to keep riding the bike and gaining experience. He’s been getting faster as each weekend rolls on and it’d be good to see him close to the top five. They will definitely be competitive and we will work closely with them to ensure a strong round.”

Sydney Motorsport Park’s third round of the 2016 ASBK season will take place in New South Wales this weekend, 16-17 April. Further event information can be found on the official series website at www.asbk.com.au.
