ASBK action returns to Queensland Raceway in 2025 for round three
The mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship, presented by Motul (ASBK), will make an electrifying return to Queensland Raceway in 2025.
The 3.126km circuit, a magnet for fierce braking duels and exceptionally close racing, will host round three of the 2025 ASBK Championship from May 2-4.
Four classes will be in action at Queensland Raceway – Pirelli Superbike, Michelin Supersport, Race and Road Supersport 300 and the bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup – while ASBK fans will also get a chance to sample the circuit thanks to QR Moto Ride Days, which is hosting an ASBK Ride Day Experience on Thursday, May 1.
ASBK ambassadors will also be at the QR Moto Ride Day Experience – and it’s rare that you get the opportunity to share a circuit with Australian and world road racing champions!

Queensland Raceway not only promotes jaw-dropping racing, but it’s also one of the most accomodating circuits on the ASBK calendar for spectators, with elevated mounds offering an unrestricted view of the entire six-turn circuit so you don’t miss a minute of the action.
The nod of Queensland Raceway approval also extends to the ASBK paddock, which continues to benefit from recent upgrades including pit infrastructure and operational facilities.
Queensland Raceway has become a pivotal round on the ASBK calendar, with riders who have made indifferent starts to the season desperate to begin making inroads.
Yamaha’s Mike Jones was firmly in that position at the 2024 ASBK round, and went onto cash in with pole position and two Superbike wins as he clawed back points on Ducati’s early runaway leader Josh Waters.
From that moment, the balance of the season was a rollercoaster, with Waters ultimately winning the title in a brilliant finale to 35 years of Australian Superbike action.
The three-day round at Queensland Raceway will also include the popular ASBK Fan Zone, stunt riding shows, a Sunday pit walk, autograph sessions, ‘Mini Moto come and try’ sessions for the kids, plus loads of other off-track activities. There’s also free ASBK paddock access for the duration of the event.
