ASBK Championship To Blast Into The Bend Motorsport Park South Australia in 2021

The ASBK Management Team is thrilled to announce Round 6 of the mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship, presented by Motul, for 2021 will be held at The Bend Motorsport Park, South Australia, featuring  a Superbike Doubleheader of ASBK and FIM Asia Road Racing Championships.

The ASBK Management Team can confirm September 23-26, 2021, will see the best ASBK and ARRC riders from across the Asia Pacific converge on the world class venue of The Bend Motorsport Park for the newly named – “2021 International Superbike Doubleheader at The Bend”.

“We are thrilled to be continuing our partnership with The Bend Motorsport Park and FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in 2021 in what will be a festival of motorcycle racing with the best talent from both championships on display,” said Motorcycling Australia CEO, Peter Doyle.

“The 2021 International Superbike Doubleheader at The Bend should be put on every motorsport fans must attend list, as the racing will be nothing short of breathtaking, fast and furious.

“We look forward to hopefully welcoming race fans from Australia and across Asia to The Bend in 2021 to watch all the action, but will obviously be guided by Government regulations at the time.”

FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, Two Wheels Motor Racing Director, Ron Hogg said: “We can’t wait to be a part of the 2021 International Superbike Doubleheader at The Bend, one of the most successful and largest international motorsports gatherings in South Australia”.

“As the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship gears up for a comeback season in 2021, our commitment towards the success of the 2021 International Superbike Doubleheader at The Bend, remains as strong as ever. We look forward to working with the superb teams from The Bend Motorsport Park, ASBK and Motorcycling Australia again.”

The Bend Motorsport Park Managing Director, Sam Shahin said: “We’re thrilled at the prospect of welcoming national and international motorcycle competition back to The Bend for 2021”.

“We thank Motorcycling Australia, ASBK and Two Wheels Motor Racing for their ongoing professionalism and support in bringing the best talent in the Asia Pacific region to compete in South Australia.”

The 2021 ASBK Calendar is now starting to take real shape with exciting announcement after announcement over the past few days. As plans for 2021 are now cemented for a huge next year, even more big news is still come.
