MEDIA CALL – Australian Superbike Championship – Wakefield Park- Round 2

The Yamaha Motor Finance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul Pirelli (ASBK) will roar into action on Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March for Round Two, at Wakefield Park Raceway in Goulburn New South Wales.

Round one at Phillip Island featured an impressive display of hard fought racing in all categories. Highlights included a clean sweep in all three Yamaha Motorcycle Insurance Superbikes races by Daniel Falzon (Caterpillar Racing Yamaha Team, R1) and several wins by Mason Coote (Mason Coote Racing, YZF-R6) in the Motul Supersport class after more than a year out of the sport. Wakefield Park Raceway is sure to keep the momentum going as the eagerly anticipated second round of the ASBK championship.
